Garlic Cheesy Biscuits {gluten-free}

- 2 ¼ cups gluten-free flour mix
- 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ¼ tsp. xanthan gum
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 cup of cold whole milk soured with 1 Tbls. of vinegar
- 4 Tbls. salted butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 4 Tbls. salted butter, melted
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Preheat oven to 450˚.
- Prepare parchment or silpat-lined pan.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, xanthan gum, salt and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.
- Add melted butter to soured milk and stir to combine. Butter will float to the top and separate. This is okay.
- Pour milk mixture over dry mixture then immediately add minced garlic and cheese.
- Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
- Drop by large spoonful onto pan, dividing into 12 biscuits.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Combine 4 Tbls. melted butter with garlic powder.
- Remove from oven, brush with garlic butter.
- Serve immediately.
