A sweet and tangy combination of strawberries and rhubarb perfect for a spring crumble flavored with a hint of cardamom.

Ingredients
  • FOR THE FRUIT:
  • 2 c. Rhubarb stalks, chopped
  • 3 c. Strawberries, cleaned
  • ¾ c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbls. gluten-free flour
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • -
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Gluten-free flour
  • ⅓ c. Melted butter
  • ½ - 1 tsp. Ground cardamom (optional)
Instructions
  1. FOR THE FRUIT:
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  3. Pour into baking dish.
  4. -
  5. FOR THE TOPPING:
  6. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  7. Gently spread on top of fruit.
  8. Bake at 350˚ for 45 minutes or until bubbly and top is lightly browned.
  9. Remove, allow to cool for 30 minutes.
  10. Serve warm or chill before serving.
