[leftcolumn]You know this one is good when your daughter visits her grandparents, returns home and immediately makes this dressing. It’s a little sweet, very creamy and has all the real spices of the little packets we all know and avoid (hopefully).

I make it with my stick blender but you can make it in a blender.[/leftcolumn] [rightcolumn]

Farmer's Ranch Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbls. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 c. Non-GMO oil such as olive oil or avocado
  • Blend the first three ingredients until mixture becomes mayonnaise.
  • Add ½ cup sour cream. Mix well.
  • Stir in the following seasoning.
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. parsley
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ½ tsp. chives
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • 3 twists of fresh ground pepper
  • pinch of cayenne
  • Add a little milk to thin to desired thickness.
  • Use this on anything you use ranch dressing for. It’s delicious!
  • Lasts about 1 week in the refrigerator if it’s not gone before that.
