Easy Mason Jar Omelets

by mrfarmersdaughter.com

I’m so excited to share this idea with you! If you like to have a hearty breakfast on weekday mornings, this will make it so much simpler. These omelets can be made in the microwave or the oven. Obviously, the oven will take much longer. It takes about 40 minutes depending on how many eggs you use in each omelet.

Just like your traditional omelet, you can add whatever ingredients you love but these you can prep ahead of time. Just chop up your ingredients and put it into the jars and close with a lid. You can make them up to five days ahead of time. In the morning when you’re ready to prepare breakfast, whip two or three eggs with a little bit of cream or half & half and pour into the jar.

I’m not even sure which omelet I love best but one thing I love to do is add some bread cubes to the veggie mix. The bread adds your “toast” without you having to prep it separately. (Of course, it wouldn’t be considered a low-carb recipe with bread added.) And, cheese. Of course, you have to have cheese!
